The truth is my mind is still in SD!~~~~
I'm more familiar with the tempo of school life than last year.
Also, I found I'm not surprised or nervous by most of stuff now.
I'm able to teach new people something needed like how to do laundry, where to buy food,
and how to select course. It's interesting like you're a relay to learn new things and exchange to new people. My new roommate's name is Eddie. He is nice and polite. Hope we will get along with each other smoothly in the following quarters.
Lots of things are changing. Baked chicken increase 1 dollar, tuition goes up, and lots of new people join UCLA. But the only thing unchanged is workload is still heavy. At least, this is a good sign for me. Professor pushes harder I can learn more and won't get lost easily.
Hope I can complete and keep the following items in mind during this quarter.
1. Find a job
2. Have good relation between advisor
3. Make courses well done
4. Find any chance to be with Tina
5. Bug Qualcomm's friends frequently
On the way home, I still feel LA is a weird place again. There are so many high-end car on the street, but I'm not one of owners. The role of myself in this city is a big difference than who I'm in San Diego. But I will remember what father said "a noble person can tolerate all environment." I wish someday I would be able to choose the life I want with no trade-off. :)
