Day 44 We are dreaming.

[Today's' Thoughts]
A thought after a talk with our Ph.D. friends.

Like many international students, we left our hometown and came to this dreamland. At the moment we flew out of our country, we really had a dream. The dream was that we want to do something different in our lives. What is something different? We don't really know even we have been here for few years. But we do know we want to do something "DIFFERENT" and this "something" is being shaped up. We know that being an engineer at TWN, we must start to earn money, have a house, or fool around every weekend. We don't feel regret at all about this. We found more exciting and fun thing to learn and experience here. Don't worry about us and don't compare with this "standard" either.

People might say we are too arrogant or impractical because we can barely defend that our lives will turn out to be a different one. But I want to tell my friends. That's our dream. You have no right to judge, define, evaluate, or even compare it. We hope we can spend more time showing what we see, telling what we hear, and writing what we think to the ones who care us. In reality, somehow the feeling when we feel excited, moved, or frustrated cannot be easily shared or transferred. We will do our best as we did before. We are feeling lucky we have anything we have right now. We are looking forward to sailing this life journey.

From today, we will be more brave than the day we were prepared to be here. No matter people can understand or appreciate what we are experiencing, we will live in our arrogant way. Moreover, we will also develop a solid mental status to accept peoples' ignorance about our dream. We won't "evaluate" peoples' lives because we know everyone has his unique dream and we will never completely understand if we fold our ears when we say we are nodding.

Anyway, please let us dream in our way and don't evaluate time by time with your value system. Your value system is not working with others. If it works, why we need to be here? We are here since we don't believe "miracle". The only way to have a opportunity to do something different in our lives is busy days currently. Again, don't expect something we don't even take as consideration. I love my parents and will always remember what they said "The process of achieving what we want is more important than the final success." The words explain itself as a true support to us. Please forgive us not be able to care about super miniature stuff (from our point of view) and break your value system accidently.

We dream a dream and we will continue to dream more. We should remember that limiting our ability to dream kills everything worthy in everyday life. Dream, make it happen, and dream again!!!
