Had dinner with a college friend who is studying at CMU Pittsburgh. He said 12 out of 30 students fail the quals this semester.
p.s. Tina and I have new rules to embrace our everyday. Smiling anytime even we are Ph.D. (people highly depressed). Smile, smile, and smile ;-)
