Day 237 stress v.s. health

Since my research topic is related to stress, the more I read the more I worry about myself. It seems there is a gap between "knowing" something and "doing" something. We certainly know long-term stress damages your brain cell and lost memory or causes other physical health problems. I think we cannot control the body's response to stress because it is controlled by autonomic nervous system. Just like some part of computer system you are not allowed to modify and is implemented in Kernel. However, our mental state may be able to "forget" about the existence of stressor or forget about it by exercising. Should try and run this experiment on my own.

As father in law said, we should have a peaceful mind to overcome the incoming challenges. I was proud of my perfect shot-term stress response. For example, I always wake up early to prepare exam in college. It seems that my perfect short-term stress response turns out to be a long-term one and gradually makes me memory loss recently. The reason is that I have continuos and endless short-term stressors coming up. That is a terrible fact I just found out.
